About Screenshots

My Mouse Movements (MMM) is a gadget that visualizes how much you move your mouse during the day. It is implemented for the Google Desktop Sidebar.

Download the My Mouse Movements gadget.

Does it record my location?
Don't worry. MMM does not record the location of your mouse. MMM checks ten times a minute to see whether the mouse has moved. For each minute, it stores the number of times the mouse location changed (e.g., 4 out of 10).

How does it work?
MMM displays each minute as a rectangle with a color. Each row in the display contains 60 squares representing a whole hour. The 24 rows represent a whole day of data.

Can I change the color?
Yes, you can change the color of the display by invoking the menu at the top-right corner of gadget. The available colors are: orange, blue, red, green, purple, and black.

Can I see my average mouse movements per hour?
Yes, you can set the display to average your mouse movements by hour, 15 minutes, 10 minutes, and 5 minutes.
